Our Group Finance organization is on the move. A group-wide IT transformation brings the systems and data of our units together on one shared foundation. This creates room to align controls, reporting, and ways of working across countries, and to embed artificial intelligence (AI) at the core of our processes. As financial controller, you help shape figures that are both reliable and relevant for the people who steer by them. You join at the moment the foundation is laid and the redesign begins. You get the space to shape this new landscape yourself and grow with it. It is a clean slate within a group that invests in it seriously.
You tackle the challenges of a growing international group: consolidation across multiple countries, processing acquisitions, and harmonizing a landscape made uneven by acquisitions. You share responsibility for consolidated reporting and for the quality and timeliness of figures that actually drive decisions. You liaise with finance colleagues in the units, work with Business Control on consistent management information, and are one of the contact persons for the external auditor. You work hands-on in the numbers, from review to close, with real depth. And you work in an environment that truly gives you the space to make things better.
Unit review and oversight: in-depth review of unit figures and oversight of the holding company accounts, including intercompany recharges and reconciliations.
Close, consolidation, and financial statements: contribute to the monthly and annual close, the consolidation of all units, the consolidated financial statements, and the audit process.
Acquisitions: contribute to the financial processing and integration of acquisitions, including purchase price allocation.
Controls, reporting, and tooling: harmonize controls and reporting, and help shape our tooling (NetSuite, Tagetik, Power BI) toward AI-supported processes.
Group accounting manual: keep the manual current, including policies, chart of accounts, and reporting guidelines.
Is strongly analytical, quickly sees through numbers, and translates them into usable insights;
Works accurately and in a structured way, looks critically at others’ numbers, and raises issues constructively when something does not add up;
Is curious about what technology and AI can mean for finance, and keeps learning;
Communicates well and welcomes giving and receiving feedback, so we grow together as individuals and as a team; and
Is flexible and handles fast change well, even when every month looks different…
