Meet Associate Partner Robin
For over 25 years, Robin Lammerts has been working in healthcare IT. His unwavering focus has been on improving healthcare. He’s now bringing that mission to Eraneos as an Associate Partner in our Healthcare & Life Sciences team. “We’re all about making healthcare work better and making sure new ideas actually work,” says Robin. “We do this by improving the day-to-day work of healthcare professionals. We constantly ask ourselves how we can make their work more efficient and, above all, more enjoyable.”
By asking these questions, healthcare institutions, and consequently, healthcare itself, are elevated to a higher level. “To achieve this, it is crucial to have a deep understanding of healthcare,” Robin explains, “That’s why my colleagues are so valuable. They’re all passionate about making healthcare better and have years of experience in the field. They get the systems, the processes, and the politics. Our team includes both Phd’s and colleagues with years of domain experience. By taking a step into Eraneos, we realize that our knowledge is not used for just one organization, but for many more healthcare institutions. Everyone brings their own experience to the project, so the wheel doesn’t have to be reinvented. That’s value addition at its best.”
Awesome projects with impact
“We are rapidly expanding our activities in the healthcare sector,” Robin proudly states. “We take on challenging projects and have developed various best practices. Currently, Data & AI presents both opportunities and challenges. To gain a clear understanding of the potential of Data & AI, we have developed a data strategy for UMC Utrecht. Firstly, to establish a common starting point within the organization. Secondly, to enable UMC Utrecht to make future decisions more quickly. ‘Planning is good, but agility is essential!’ This means that we also create space to quickly implement the most obvious improvements.”

This is certainly not the only impressive project. “For a pharmacy and medication distributor, we are involved in the development of a Digital Twin. In short, a digital environment of the organization where we have been able to optimize various scenarios regarding medication packaging and distribution,” Robin mentions. And the impact? “It is significant! We have been able to make an efficiency gain through a 14% increase in automatically processed prescriptions and an annual cost saving.”
In every project, the focus is not only on providing advice, but also on the implementation and the change it brings about. “Projects often have a beginning and an end,” Robin states, “Which is only natural, but we don’t stop at the end. We believe it’s important for an organization to be able to continue independently and reap the rewards of the transformation. There’s no room for complacency; we need to continuously improve and not let daily distractions overshadow our goals. That’s why we take a proactive approach to ensure that systems are actually used, ownership is taken, and value is created for professionals on the front lines. We want to make a real difference for people doing the actual work. As a consultant, it’s a great way to make an impact and work on cool projects.”

“We want to make this consultancy even bigger and better,” says Robin, “But quality is always our top priority.
