What impact will you make today as Senior/Lead Data Engineer at Eraneos?

In your role as Senior/Lead Data Engineer you will be working in a dynamic role that puts you in the position of a technical lead responsible for implementing our solutions together with a team of data engineers and data scientists. In this position you will be working with a focus on Azure and our Data Hub and Applied AI solutions. You will get the best algorithm into production, design user stories before implementation, develop data structures and data pipelines.

Tasks & responsibilities

You are able to work on various projects simultaneously (on- & offsite)
You take the lead in detailed designs and implementation of the project. As a lead, you collaborate with your team of data scientists, engineers, project managers, and sales, making sure business value for our clients is always delivered
Unit test coverage, Cloud deployment, as well as data storage and data security measures are part of your tasks
From a customer perspective, you are the technical point of contact responsible for progress, quality, and content. In addition to technically leading the project, you are still actively programming daily within the team.

In your role as Senior/Lead Data Engineer you will be part of the Eraneos Data & AI team in the Netherlands. We advise on, design, build, and deliver Data & AI solutions. Our team consists of consultants, data architects, data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and project managers. These professionals each have their own expertise, but also share a passion for solving data problems and innovating. We can handle any data & AI challenge, end-to-end, full-stack, using technologies like Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, Elastic, Tensorflow, Sci-Kit learn and Cloud-native components (Azure, AWS) and development languages like Java or Python.

Who are you?

A bachelor or master’s degree preferably in combination with 5+ years of experience including acting as a Lead Engineer
Your software engineering background will support your knowledge in the field of Java or Python and in addition to that you have worked with Azure and/or AWS, CI/CD, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop, Elastic, Docker, and/or Kubernetes
Multitasking is your middle name and working on several projects simultaneously is music to your ears
You enjoy sharing your knowledge & experience with other colleagues so we can all benefit from each other
You speak fluent Dutch AND English (must have!)
You consider yourself to be independent, entrepreneurial, accurate, communicative and open-minded.
