Your role as a Senior GenAI Solution Engineer:

• End-to-End Development: You drive AI solutions across the full lifecycle – from rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept to deployment in scalable, highly available production environments.
• AI Services Engineering: You build robust backend services in Python that seamlessly integrate state-of-the-art LLMs and perform reliably under production load.
• Autonomous Agent Architecture: You design and implement intelligent agent systems that automate real-world workflows through tool calling and memory management, operating safely within defined guardrails.
• Agentic SDLC: You integrate AI agents into the development lifecycle – from AI-assisted coding and code reviews to automated testing and intelligent documentation – enhancing efficiency across the entire software development process through agentic tools.
• Ensuring Software Excellence: You take ownership of code quality by applying clean architecture principles, implementing automated testing, and establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Evaluation & Monitoring: You implement frameworks to measure the performance of GenAI solutions (e.g., accuracy, latency, cost) and ensure continuous optimization.
• Consulting: You work directly with clients – facilitating workshops and acting as a sparring partner for business and management stakeholders. You translate complex AI concepts into tangible business impact and co-create the right solutions.
• Technology Sparring: You assess technical feasibility and advise stakeholders on how to turn innovative ideas into sustainable, production-ready products.

Who you are

• Excellent Python Skills (Production-Ready): You have strong expertise in API development (e.g., FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), testing (unit and integration), as well as Git and CI/CD – well beyond notebook-based scripting.
• Rapid Prototyping: Ability to quickly build and visualize demos and proof-of-concepts.
• Strong Architectural Understanding: You apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and async/concurrency patterns in a structured way, and leverage ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy) for clean and efficient database interactions.
• Hands-on Experience with Multimodal LLM APIs: Proficient in working with leading models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
• Advanced GenAI Engineering: Strong command of prompt engineering, structured outputs (JSON), and tool/function calling.
• RAG Expertise (End-to-End): Experience in building full pipelines – from embeddings and vector databases (e.g., pgvector) to advanced retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation.
• Agent Development: Experience in designing and orchestrating autonomous systems (e.g., with Pydantic AI), including memory management and guardrails.
• Consulting Skills: Experience working directly with clients. You are able to facilitate workshops, present results, and confidently navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Languages: Fluent in German, with professional proficiency in English.
• Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field (Bachelor’s degree or higher).
• Willingness to travel: You are willing to work on-site at the client’s premises on a regular basis
